1. Who is responsible?
Martin Hartmann and Alexander Ungerer jointly operate this website and are responsible for its data processing. Address: Kravoglstraße, 39012 Merano (Sinich), South Tyrol, Italy. You can contact either operator about your data at hello@fensh-smartlamp.com.
2. Technical operation
Vercel Inc., USA, provides hosting and delivery. Requests contain technical data such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser and operating system. We use this data to deliver and protect the website (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use hosting logs to build advertising profiles. Vercel processes technical logs under its retention policies; security records may be kept longer to investigate misuse.
3. Optional Google Analytics
Only with your consent do we load Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, to understand website usage (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google may process page views, interactions, device information and cookie identifiers, including in the USA. We do not send form entries or email addresses to Analytics. No Google Analytics request is made before consent or after refusal. You can withdraw consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. We use no advertising pixels and do not enable advertising personalisation.
4. Browser storage and cookies
We store your language preference under fensh-marketing-language until you change it or clear your browser data. Your cookie choice is stored under fensh-consent-v1 for six months to respect your decision. These settings are necessary to provide the preferences you requested and are not used for tracking. If you accept Analytics, Google’s _ga and _ga_* cookies may store visitor/session identifiers for up to two years. Refusing Analytics does not restrict the website.
5. Enquiries and email
For general, partnership, investor or job enquiries we process your name, email, optional company, message, request category, page source and language. Formspree Inc., USA, receives form submissions; mailbox (Heinlein Hosting GmbH, Germany) handles our inbox. We use these details only to answer and follow up on your enquiry, not to subscribe you to release emails (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual requests, otherwise Article 6(1)(f)). Spam filters also process technical submission data. We review enquiries for deletion after 12 months following completion, unless a continuing relationship or legal obligation requires retention. Please do not send children’s personal data, schoolwork or sensitive documents through this form.
6. Your rights
Where the legal conditions apply, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw any consent with effect for the future. Use the contact details in our legal notice. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. There are no automated decisions about you on this website.
7. Release updates
Release emails are voluntary and separate from enquiries. We use your email, language, consent text version and confirmation time to send news about Fensh availability and pre-orders, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You must confirm your address before it becomes an active subscription. The signup service uses Resend, Inc., USA, for confirmation emails and Upstash, Inc., USA, for a separate Fensh subscription list. Unconfirmed requests expire after 48 hours. To limit abuse, we temporarily retain keyed hashes of IP addresses and request counters; raw IP addresses are not stored in the list. Each update includes an unsubscribe option; you can also contact hello@fensh-smartlamp.com. We keep active subscriptions until withdrawal or the end of the release-update programme. After withdrawal, the list deletes your email address and keeps only a pseudonymous opt-out marker for up to one year. Delivery logs are also held by the email provider under its retention settings.
8. Providers and international transfers
Service providers receive only the data needed for their role. Where processing takes place outside the EEA, the applicable safeguards may include an EU adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request details and copies of the applicable safeguards at our contact address. This website does not access your camera or microphone. Learning examples shown here are fictional.
